What was keeping them
awake at night?

For many people we spoke to, unions are dominated by strikes, arguments and animosity. Parents feel teaching unions unthinkingly disrupt their jobs and their kids' education, and senior school staff can see the active unionists as 'troublemakers'.

The National Education Union wanted to change the record on unions and on education.

How we helped

With a new positioning brimming with the union's commitment to making education a great place to work, a great place to teach, and a great place to learn, they needed a visual brand that could represent their collective power.

The new brand pulses with the energy of the union's membership, embodying community togetherness and collective strength through interconnected pentagons.
