Quadram Institute is a unique joint venture between the University of East Anglia, Institute of Food Research, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.

It needed to develop a brand to carve out space in world leading interdisciplinary research into food, the human digestive system and health.

How we helped

The name captures the four elements of its research, four areas of interest, four elements of its work and four partners.

The quadrilateral represents the four organisations that have come together to form the Quadram Institute. The shape is used as a tool throughout the visual brand language to investigate, connect, highlight and reveal - encapsulating the institute's pioneering spirit and commitment to rigorous research.
